Welcome to my site. There are many things to see here. I am a self taught artist. I primarily paint landscapes that are places you will remember or wish you could go.The goal is to elicit feelings of peace and contentment. The rushing water of a beautiful waterfall, the shadows of the sun dabbled forest, the luster of sunset all a part of what brings me inspiration.

I am currently working on a series of close up large fruits and vegetables. These bring the beauty of our food right to your eyes. No doubt about it they will get your attention!
Solo show planned at Warehouse 1005 Studio and Gallery, 2005 1st Street, Phoenix, Arizona. I hope to see you there for First Friday in October and all month long.

I have been working on getting the close up and the distance at the same time almost as if you were there to choose your own view by how you focus on your surroundings. I love painting trees especially and the out of doors where I always feel the best vibrations from the natural surroundings.

 Rocky Falls

This painting was so much fun to paint. It was like I could just get right in there and splash in the water. I am taking a vacation to see waterfalls around Arizona so I should have a lot of material to paint more waterfalls.

capturing the colors and the texture of the southwestern mountainsides is quite a challenge in this 24 x 30

I still love the woods. The snow is delightful even though I do not miss it now that I am in Phoenix. This is one of the Gecko series paintings. Any painting I name "gecko" such as this "Gecko Winter" does have a gecko hiding in it somewhere.
